The Dashboard splits the journey into the part you control and the part you do not. The bar shows how close you are, and below it Belong France lists the routes open to you: naturalisation by decree after five years, the two year route for graduates of French higher education, the no-wait grounds for francophone nationals and recognised refugees, and the four year spouse declaration, each carrying its own status.
What if sits on the Dashboard and answers that without touching your file. Flip a test to passed, add a marriage, spend six months abroad, and watch your finish line move under the real French rules. It runs on a copy of your situation, so nothing you try is saved and nothing you entered changes.
Path opens your route and lays out every requirement in order. A green tick is met and a coral dot is in progress: habitual and stable residence, French at B2 oral and written, the civic exam, stable and sufficient resources and good conduct. Each item explains the rule in plain language and links to the official source on service-public.gouv.fr, from the accepted B2 proofs to the ministry's own preparation site.

Practice trains you for the examen civique, required for naturalisation applications filed from 1 January 2026.
